Meeting Venue – New Location

Dear members,

We have sourced a new venue for Branch meetings.

This had to be done due to the long-term unavailability of the mission hall.

The mission hall needs extensive refurbishment and is unavailable to use for at least 6 months to possibly 1 year.

With this in mind it was important to seek a new venue, numerous venues were viewed and due to lack of parking facilities on offer and traffic congestion in some of these areas, were deemed not fit for purpose. The current venue in Abbottstown was very problematic for most members due to traffic congestion particularly on the M 50 were numerous members complained they could not make the meeting due to traffic delays from minor accidents etc.

We will be using the facilities in The Iveagh Grounds for the remainder of this year’s meetings (dates below) We have sourced this venue at a very competitive rate and ample secure parking on site.

The timings for these meetings will be 7.30 to 9 p.m. Sharp.

1. Oct 19th

2. Nov 23rd

3. Dec 14th

4. Jan 18th

5. Feb 15th for our AGM.- Which will start at 7 P.M. Sharp.

The venue is located on the Crumlin Road Dublin 12 - 200 meters from the Crumlin Shopping centre, it is the venue where St James gate F.C. & Dublin University F.C. currently play (More info can be acquired from the committee member in your league or any executive member)

The Following buses from the city centre a very frequent and drop you DIRECTLY outside the venue. Bus number 27, 77a, 151 & 56a - These all comes up via the keys or Pearse Street and the common bus stop is at college green beside Trinity College, directly across from the main Bank of Ireland.

Registration for meetings will be directly inside the main door on arrival. The meeting hall is on level one and anyone requiring a lift the in one directly at the entrance. Membership fees can also be paid to Eddie on Level one.

Please note you should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the meeting to register and take your seat as the meetings will start and finish promptly.

Please Note our October 19th meeting will be a very special night , it will be and award night with presentations to our members with 50 years’ service or more, please make it a special night for these members and turn up early.

Note: You may need to pay €2 parking fee so have your coin ready.
